About this project

This is the sixth cover project from, following on from hugely successful ventures such as Salivate and Thick Custard, The premise is always the same – the music is free, but if you like what you hear, you are invited to make a donation a very deserving cause. Our artists have worked tirelessly on this project for you, and we’re very proud of the end product.

For those asking, “Tossington” isn’t quite a fictitious place – it’s the name of Bruce’s home recording studio, Tossington Sound. As for why he chose that name, you’ll have to ask him…

Our grateful thanks to Tim Shaw for his tireless work mastering this project.

Learn about our charities

We’ve supported a number of charities with these projects, but two have remained in our hearts throughout.

The ALS Association

“Never forget to enjoy each day even if your life isn’t exactly what you want it to be. The blessings are always there though sometimes we have to look a little harder”. Those words of advice came to me from Melissa Reagan Smith, Bruce Hornsby’s assistant, shortly after she was diagnosed with ALS.

The Merlin Centre

Dr Derek Murphy and his wife Eileen were very big reasons why we were inspired to help to raise funds for the Merlin Centre for Multiple Sclerosis care.

Daily Dose Day

“Postcards from Tossington” supports the Daily Dose Day, an online charity event to raise money for both causes. The premise for both projects is the same – all of the music is free, but you are invited to contribute a voluntary donation if you like what you hear. You can do that via this website, or at
